The Motic SMZ-172 stereo zoom trinocular microscope provides 7.5x - 50x zoom magnification. The system is on a track stand with 3 sources of illumination: near vertical illumination shines down through the head, a double spot illuminator can be adjusted to shine on the sample, and the bottom illuminator can provide brightfield or darkfield illumination.
- Stereo Microscope Body: Zoom ratio of 1:6.7. Greenough system designed for harsh environments of production and testing.
- Eyepieces: Includes 10x/23 eyepieces with adjustable diopters (±5°) and interpupillary distance (48mm - 75mm). 15x or 20x eyepieces are available for purchase separately.
- Viewing head: Choose from a binocular or trinocular viewing head when ordering. Eyetubes are inclined 45° and head rotates 360°. Trinocular head has a built in 0.4x camera adapter.

- Stand: Track stand provides power for the dual spot illuminator and the near vertical illuminator built into the microscope head. Built-in bottom LED illumination has a switch to adjust from brightfield to darkfield illumination. Includes a stage clip, 95mm black and white stage plate, 95mm frosted glass stage plate, and a 95mm clear glass stage plate. 100V ~ 240V.
