This Motic Panthera C2 digital microscope was designed with phase contrast microscopy in mind. This model features full Köhler illumination, and CCIS UC Achromat phase objectives. This microscope has advanced features including a larger stage, 5-position nosepiece, double slider holder, Motic LightTracer, and the HDCAM7 4K camera.
Viewing Head: Trinocular Siedentopf head inclined 25º, 360º swivel with fixed 50/50 beam splitter.
Eyepieces: UC-WF 10x / 22 focusing eyepieces, with diopter adjustment +/-5. Accepts 25mm diameter reticle. Interpupillary distance adjustable from 48-75mm.
Total Magnification: 40x, 100x, 400x, (optional 1000x).
Specimen Stage: 185mm W x 145mm compact mechanical stage with built-in low position rackless coaxial stage control and double slide holder. Travel range X&Y 75 x 50 mm.
Focusing: Coaxial coarse and fine focusing with tension adjustment. Coarse focus drive is 25mm/rev, fine focus is 0.2mm/rev.
Condenser: Phase contrast turret condenser with BF/DF/Ph1/Ph2/Ph3
Illumination: Koehler illumination with 3W LED and 6v 30w halogen lamp (easy to swap out). Corded 100~240V with cord storage on microscope frame. Light intensity control with LED intensity display on both sides of microscope. The Motic LightTracer features light memory, sleep mode (auto on-off) and nosepiece LED light intensity indicator. Stand Features: Full Kohler, effective ergonomics and maximum expandability are built into this stand. The wide arm provides strength and rigidity. Additionally, the inverted "Y" support in the back of the microscope provides extra lateral stability. Built in USB 2.0 connectivity for external camera power or battery pack.
Camera: The HDCAM7 is a 4K HD 2160p scientific grade camera that has all in one camera HDMI + USB3 + SD Card / USB Flash Drive. Includes c-mount adapter and image analysis software.
Software Calibration: If you plan to make measurements using the software you will need to calibrate the microscope. Calibrating your software with the microscope requires use of a stage micrometer. A stage micrometer is available for purchase separately.
